What a DELICIOUS place!!!! Saturday night my hubby and I were at Mizner for the Harry Connick Jr show and we didn't want to wait for a table (6:00 you'd think the wait wouldn't be a problem)...anyways, I remembered seeing the Cheese Course on the Mizner directory. So we figured, why not! I got the Greek Salad with chicken breast and my hubby got this bacon sandwich. Both super delicious. The cheese was so rich and the breads were so fresh. We both agreed we would have to make another visit there soon, even though we hate Mizner. We will definitely make it back there.

It's a decent place with charming French Country like atmosphere. Unfortunately, the last time I went with my husband, my salad had old wilted lettuce. May not come back again.

Good food for the new year! We met some friends for lunch, snagging the large table with the huge umbrellas on the patio, the perfect spot to enjoy the sunny afternoon. Its location in Mizner Park is out of the way in a quiet corner, ideal for a relaxing lunch that still allows for fancy people- and fancy car-watching. As soon as I walked in and took a whiff, I knew I was in the right place. With a smell that only a cheese-lover can appreciate, The Cheese Course has a fantastic selection of artisanal cheeses. Looking for cheese made from a certain type of milk? Craving cheese from a particular region? Have a hankering for some bloomy rind or hard cheese? The Cheese Course has something for you. I was very intrigued by their list of featured cheesemakers on the website - they profile a number of cheesemakers, letting you put a face to that cheese you love. Everyone at TCC was very friendly. I eavesdropped as the cheesemonger assisted another patron and was impressed with the level of service and knowledge. TCC is set up as a small shop and a quick-service bistro with a nice European ambiance. You can browse the cheeses and accompaniments for the perfect starter for your dinner party, or you can order a cheese course to try something new. They have a great list of salads and sandwiches made to order. The bread is crusty and tasty, your choice of white or wheat. The Tuscan Roast Vegetable was scrumptious, spread with a tomato pesto that I loved. We shared a caprese salad - a great choice and a great introduction to their fresh mozzarella. Everyone was happy and satisfied by the meal. They have a good selection of wines and beers, making it a nice spot to stop for a drink and some cheese. Although a tad pricey, the quality is excellent, and I will definitely be back for more cheese!

Beautiful little store, great location, and it looks like they have some social events and tastings they offer. We only stopped in for a beer after dinner on a Friday night so can't evaluate much of the service or the food, but the items they carry and the way everything is displayed is beautiful. There is minimal indoor seating, but great seating outside. Definitely worth checking out.

This is food at its finest, folks. I was turned onto this place when I worked in Weston and was psyched when the opened in Boca. The #4 chicken sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. So is the prosciutto one. Might be simple, and not pretentious, and it's not really a sit down restaurant. There are tables though - limited and mostly outdoor. Also a great place if you need to pick something up for a dinner party - great wines, cheeses, and the occasional desert. Wine selection is awesome. However, if you aren't into cheese, might wanna skip this one.

The Cheese Course is an artisanal cheese shop that has a European feel and a menu filled with sandwiches, salads, and of course, cheese. Whether you are craving Fresh Mozzarella, Fontina, or Brie - The Cheese Course has you covered and they are sure to please. What we ordered: Black Forest Ham with Brie - The sweetness of the black forest ham and cran-raspberry relish perfectly accented the star of the sandwich, the thick rectangular pieces of creamy, nutty brie. Assembled on a whole wheat baguette and topped with field greens, it was a massive masterpiece, and a bargain at $8.90 since it was easily large enough for two lunches. Served at room temperature, but would be good (and gooey) warm as well.

Deff a solid 4 star cheese spot. I went there this afternoon, since this place was rated such a high rating on yelp. I'm suprised it was rated so many times and with 5 stars. I'm guessing these people havn't been to a Cheese Shop before. My all-time favorite spot that I consider a 5 Star spot, was in North Hollywood, California, named: Artisan Cheese Gallery. It's amazing... This place deff looks like a dope spot for cheese.. kinda dead but it was a sunday. I questioned the ammt of reviews for the place for how empty it was. I got a Chicken breast Sandwich where someone claimed it was his favorite Chicken sandwich EVER... It was deff one of the best chicken sandwiches i've had. I'd rate the sandwich a 4.5. Very good, nice blend with the pesto, greens, and chicken. I enjoyed it, but could of devoured 2 of the sandwiches... brought a friend with me to try this place, and he enjoyed this place very much and we can't wait to return to try something other than the chicken sandwich. :) This is rating upon the bistro, how the food was that i had prepared there. I will update my review when i test there knowledge on the cheese they have, and whatnot when i return. Deff will go back :)

Great cheeses and knowledgeable staff. Salad and a cheese course are more than enough for two.

  • Chantel G.

Really great sandwiches! I wish you got a little more cheese for you money with the cheese plates, but the meat side is a pretty good size and the prosciutto was perfect. The bread was delicious, it reignited my passion for baking bread and I have been baking bread at least once or twice a week since going to TCC about a month ago. The bacon sandwich was to die for. I wish they had samples like other cheese courses, and bit more cheese for sale, but otherwise it really is a nice little place for lunch. Oh, don't forget to get a cupcake! Yum!

Love cheese course, but with growing popularity of IPic and Yardhouse, parking is a nightmare for pick up orders. Please please please implement a curbside pickup.

Respect for great cheese, love of wine, and friendly service to boot. What could be better? We wandered in just to look around after a Sunday afternoon at the museum, but left with three outstanding cheeses, a bottle of wine, and bread. Great cheese selection! Found something old and discovered something new. The staff were a great help, and the wine was available to sample (though was a bit pricey for what it was). Wish there was a place like this where I live!

This is a one-of-a-kind place, definitely worth trying. Hundreds of different kinds of cheeses, lots lots and lots of great wine and sandwich/salads make this place a must when in Boca Raton. Super cool and full of beautiful people. Really charming and the food is great!

What a fabulous place for lunch! There are an overwhelming number of cheeses to choose from. I stuck with the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich which was awesome. Inside is quaint and has a friendly, chic decor. Outdoor seating is even better. Situated in the lively Mizner Park, it's a great lunch spot to sit outside and people-watch. I'll definitely be going back.

Awesome sandwiches, I had the applewood bacon sarnie and it was awesome. They also have a great wine selection for by the glass if you are so inclined. Super laid back and tons of reading materials if you are looking to have a lazy lunch. HIGHLY recommend.

i love the stuff that they have at this place. it reminds of the little wine & cheese shops that you find in napa valley. the bread is very nice, and they have a large selection of sandwiches and salads to choose from. they serve different selections of cheese on wood cutting boards too, which pair great with a bottle of wine. i do wish they offered soup though. i enjoy the prosciutto di parma sandwich the best. it has fresh mozzarella, tomato, balsamic vinegar, and pesto on it. amazing.

What a great place to chat and enjoy great cheeses! I'm a fan of most of their selections and adore the aged cheddar's! Short review but I recommend this place to anyone looking for a little cafe type setting.

Just what we needed in Mizner Park.. A quiet, comfy little place to join friends and enjoy a little something! Go for the large platter, and definitely try the fig spread as one of your extras. The food is wonderful, the pate fresh and delicious... But the cheese selection in what keeps me going back! Wines are served by the glass, we found that they very generously pour. Perfect!

Walked in and the place was very cute farm style which I loved. You order at the counter and they give you a number. The lady who was taking our order the manager had horrible attitude was not friendly or helpful and was rolling her eyes the whole time. When our entrees arrived the cup of soup seemed like half a cup and the sandwich was very petite. Don't get me wrong the food was very tasty just the service sucked and we left hungry and unhappy.

Excellent sandwiches and also a great wine selection for take home vino's! :) Great deals for "in the biz" as we'll. Have come here for lunch between shifts from Racks and also before; the baguettes have yet to bore me! Customize your own sandwich, I recommend it.

Anyone who has traveled through Europe (or just loves cheese, salad, wine, etc) will appreciate the food selection and quality here. But, there is something wrong with the staff and it must come from the top down. I can't tell if they either have an attitude problem, intelligence problem, poor training or just otherwise uninspired with their job. We ordered three items and two came out wrong despite clear communication. The girl behind the counter never looked up nor thanked us for the 20% tip we gave on credit card PRIOR to receiving our food. They've built a wall of fondue product boxes on top of the broken refrigerator counter as to block themselves from their customers. Despite these people who work there, the food was excellent and it is a shame because Boca really needs some culinary culture. Maybe they're trying to emulate the attitudinal service one can expect in Paris? It's only because of the food that I'll probably give this place another shot and I hope I am able to give it a better review at that time.

I mean really, this place is THE reason to have a party. Between the cheese and the wine...please. We, party of 4 consisting of 2 locals and 2 visitors, stopped in after dinner nearby. Two wines "to-go". If I could camp out nearby and live my life visiting The CC it would be perfection. And that is coming from someone who prefers vegan cooking. Quality cheeses, quality wines, in store or to-go. Done.

Oh, how I love the Cheese Course! I have been to the one near the Design District, and this location is just as good. Service is friendly and relatively quick, free samples of cheese and tapinades, and the selection of cheeses is second to none.Soups, sandwiches, salads and quiche are all very good. An excellent, place for a relatively light lunch, it also offers a comfortable patio outdoor seating area, with a shade from the sun.

A place based on cheese. Sign me up. Shared a three cheese course. Really good. My favorite was the manchego. Also had a chicken salad sandwich which was good as well. Next time I go I want to get some wine with my cheese.

Delish lunch! We tried two different sandwiches on banquettes. Each features a yummy cheese paired just right and run approx $8.50 to $10. They are more than filling though so the price is right. We tried a Roasted Turkey with Speciality Cheddar, chutney and greens as well as a Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella, Basil, Pesto, Tomato and Balsamic Drizzle. We are about 45 minutes away but can't wait until we are close by again. Ohhhh..... And the staff was very friendly offering suggestions and free samples of any cheese.

Nice find ! The salads are great. The service is great. Friendly and smiling service. Clean restaurant / cafe. The other food on the menu is really good but I always love a great and tasty salad. The wine selection is pretty good too. Very casual but nice ! Love to go here.

A friend and I shared the Bold tasting platter - 6 glorious cheeses, beautifully presented and served on a wooden cheese board with fig preserves, french baguette, apple slices and imported olives. Amazing. So amazing that we called a friend to come join us, and then the three of us ordered the Medium tasting platter...didn't knock our socks off like the Bold did, but it was very tasty too. Our favorite cheese of the day was the aged Gouda that comes on the Bold platter. A morsel of this cheese on top of a bite of the baguette with a little fig preserves? Heavennnnnnnnnnnnnn. They serve wine by the glass for any of their bottles under $35. I had the house chardonnay which I liked quite a bit. The menu had tons of delicious-looking sandwiches to choose from also, for very reasonable prices. Will have to check this place out for lunch sometime. This was a post-movie, pre-dinner snack. Except, we ended up enjoying it so much that we ate too much cheese and skipped dinner altogether! :)

I'm from a place where you get cheese from middle-aged, blue collar bad asses who cut wheels of cheese with knives the size of a machete. The cheese is cheap 'cause they sell so much of it and you can afford to eat enough cheese constipate your for a fortnight. With that, I find The Cheese Course to be a dainty little cheese shop for yuppies with their Baby Bjorn strollers and designer dogs to visit and graze on their food. Their sandwiches are good, but their salads aren't really salads--they're fluffy mixed greens from a bag, topped with chunks of cheese. I went outside to eat and my salad actually blew away in the wind...seriously. On the positive side, they allow you to sample cheese, which is a lot of fun and the cheesemonger has always been very nice and informative. The outdoor dining is set very nicely among many lush potted plants. It has a really nice ambiance. Oh, and the sandwiches are good, and so is the cheese, of course.

Fair prices for fair proportions for great quality. This nice little eatery / cheese shop is located next to Ze Galerie in Boca Raton Mizner Park. It is an appropriate spot for what it serves. You can order up at the counter and your meal will be delivered to wherever you choose to sit. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is nice around the 'winter' time of the year that is Florida. There is a great menu selection highlighting the cheese itself paired well within sandwiches, salads, and tasting platters. I have never had a bad meal here and would highly recommend this place for cheese lovers and simple tastes. My go to sandwich is always the mozzarella, pesto, and prosciutto on white.

3.5 A good alternative to the traditional sub/lunch shops and I'd recommend trying at least once, but only for lunch. Have to say first that I'm easy to please with the cheese and I'm more than happy whenever I see a cheese tray (Colby, cheddar, mozzarella, swiss) from Publix at a party, and that's about the extent I've gone when it comes to cheese trays. I'm glad they give free samples here because to a cheese novice like me some of the cheese's are just too strong or old or whatever connoisseur's call it, but some are just vomit inducing, so try the samples and know what you're ordering! If you're a Caprese Salad fan you should definitely try theirs. Its a big portion, tasty, and fresh. The sandwiches are good here but there's not enough meat served, so unless you're ordering a cheese tray you're better off going to a traditional sub shop. The workers are friendly and will try to pair a good priced bottle of wine with cheese of you're liking, and they bring you your food but will charge for extra bread. Bottome line is if its a nice day come here and sit outside and get your wine and cheese on but it's not a place I'd make a regular unless you're a true cheese head.

The Cheese Course was our first stop during our multi-course evening out on Mizner Park. The 4.5 star rating on Yelp is completely accurate. This place is a real gem. If you like wine and you like cheese, then The Cheese Course is the place for you. We enjoyed a $9 bottle of Merlot as part of the "Sipin Thursday" special; $3 glasses of wine were also available. We ordered the bold favors six category sampler which easily served two and did not disappoint. The cheeses were flavorful and superbly matched with our red wine. The young lady who assisted us when we arrived was very knowledgeable about cheese and wine pairings and definitely steered us in the right direction with our choices. We sat outside at a quaint two-topper reminiscent of a European-style cafe on a beautiful summer evening. The Cheese Course was a great first stop on our Mizner Plaza journey.

I am a big fan of The Cheese Course, though I typically get the same thing (or some variation). I love the American Field Greens salad, but I swap out the dressing for the mustard-shallot vinaigrette instead of the honey-tarragon vinaigrette. It cannot be good for me. It comes loaded with white cheddar, tomatoes, avocado and bacon. Sometimes I get it with a small soup. The one time I strayed and got a sandwich, I was disappointed. So the American Field Greens it is for me. The service is friendly and quick, and the location is near my office, making it convenient for a weekday lunch. It is on the pricey side, so it tends to be a treat for me.

Been coming here for a year, 3 to 4 times per wk, UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! Bad,bad, bad. They are changing the portions, smaller and keeping the prices the same, not creating new dishes with new prices. Just change the product. If this is an indication of the new management, STAY AWAY!!! I will follow-up in a month. More to come...

The Cheese Course is in Mizner Park, directly opposite Yard House, and next to the entrance to IPic Theater/TANZY Restaurant. I walk by it often, and only after seeing a Groupon or Living Social Offer, thought I would give it a try. Have not purchased any of their wide selections of cheeses or wines, so I can't comment on them, but suspect they are all quite good, otherwise they wouldn't have so many offered, and wouldn't be as popular as they are. The OUTDOOR SEATING area is attractively designed, with lots of tables sheltered by huge umbrellas, and a long communal table always has fresh flowers as a center piece, which is a nice touch. The servers, though, could focus on actually wiping down the tables when they remove customer's dishes, or just check that the tables are clean when they bring out food [you order at register, and your food is brought to your table, whether outside or inside]. I've had the GRILLED CHICKEN on a really good French whole wheat baguette, it was really tasty, made with a good amount of FONTINA cheese, tomatoes, basil pesto, and greens, nicely warmed, so the cheese melts just a bit. It may appear pricey at close to $10, but can easily be shared, and a packaged sandwich from SBUX is $5, so this is far better value. The FRESH MOZZZARELLA on the Caprese is served open faced, with a lot of ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, EVOO and vinegar. A delight to look at and a treat to eat. Also, if you are into the Mizner Park people watching thing (and if not, you can't avoid it anyway), when you sit outdoors, there is a Valet drop off in front of you. Be prepared to see many a parade of $100,000 to $300,000 cars being driven by VERY OLD silver haired dudes with too tight designer jeans and pink or aqua sweaters wrapped around their necks, accompanied by their apparent dates (spouses??) wearing stiletto heal shoes, carrying designer bags, with HUGE diamond rings weighing down their hands, and multiple face enhancements that they can't smile even if they wanted to...

Awesome lunch spot. My girlfriend and I both got sandwiches. She got the Prosciutto Sandwich with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, basil pesto, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I got the roasted red pepper and eggplant Provençal half sandwich with tomato bisque soup. Both sandwiches were delicious (I snuck In a couple of large bites of her sandwich). The prosciutto was perfectly salty and savory. The bread were crispy baguettes the correct size and length to hold the content and not fall apart. One side had Pesto and the other side balsamic vinegar which softened the inside of the bread making a small pocket holding the ingredients. The tomato bisque was yum and not too heavy either. They were also very nice and gave us a bowl for water for our dog.

The one in Pinecrest is awesomeness smells fine. So why does this one have this horrid bacteria smell? SCRUB THIS PLACE DOWN and clean the air vents which seem to be a big source of the smell. Bad management lets poor cleaning continue. Cheese has an aroma, but the bacteria smell in this particular store should evoke those instinctive warnings that cause one to beat a hasty retreat. If I have a Cheese Course jones, I go down to the one in Miami. If this one had its act together, and I didn't gag coming through the door, it would become a destination.

There is no other word to describe The Cheese Course, but that of Love. I love the Cheese Course. I always wanted to venture in, never did, and then one day, I put my foot down and said "we're going here for lunch". Best decision ever!!! Walking in, there is cheese and wine and HUGE menu on the wall. I literally sat there for 10 minutes trying to decide what I want. Its a type of order and they bring to your table type of place. So I go for the classic choice.... grilled cheese and tomato soup. This is not your run of the mill grilled cheese though. We're talking baguette, with fontina and brie cheese. Tomato soup.... omg. Yes, I said it.... OMG. Creamy tomato soup, with swirls of sour cream and fresh basil. It was ridiculous. My mom, who was with me, got a quiche. It was insane! The crust was super buttery, and there was a perfect balance between egg and cheese and vegetable. It was so fluffy and not super dense like some quiches. Love the atmosphere too. Tables outside under a huge umbrella, with rustic decorations on the tables. Can't wait to go back and get a cheese platter and wine.

Been coming here for a while and enjoy the various locations of the cheese course and enjoy the food. The hours say open till 10 so we tried to go for dinner and at 920 the kitchen was closed and they had already cleared the patio. We were very disappointed by this since we really enjoy eating here, and it definitely makes you wonder if this is a corporate decision or the individual stores decision to close the kitchen before the store.

This location is a little larger, it seems, than the one in Coral Springs and has a bit more outdoor seating. In general, The Cheese Course ( as a small chain ) may be my favorite place not only in South Florida, but just ever. It's the perfect combination of casual, cheese, and affordability. Again, as in my review for the one in Coral Springs, if you don't like cheese, you might not want to come here. You also cannot be my friend. They have a large variety of cheese. If you aren't sure what to get or have questions, they are very helpful and knowledgable here. Be sure to ask! A good place to start is one of their suggestions for plates on the boards. But if you know what you like, walk around and make a mental list of what you want. The sandwiches and soups are always good and paired perfectly. The cheese is delicious - I mean it is cheese, and they happen to have the best kinds in the area. The pairings are perfect too. And you get a great amount for your dollar. Their house wines are particularly great. I have tried the cabernet sauvignon and pinot grigio and both were excellent. Try eating outside here as the layout inside is a little funky and outside is a little more open. If you come in for lunch, try the tropical iced tea - it's really yummy.

Not sure why we walked past this little spot so many times without stopping in for a bite. My mistake! We used to see people sitting out at the tables having a glass of wine and a little cheese and assumed that it was just a cheese shop that sold wine. Well, it is a cheese shop. And they do sell wine. But they are much more than that entails. The menu is not extensive, consists of a variety of cheese platters, salads and sandwiches. But each item is crafted well. The sandwiches are large (find a friend to share) and the ingredients are fresh, flavorful and pair well together. I've tried three and they were all worth the carbs! Salads are also interesting and the dressings, which they will serve on the side (without rolling their eyes) are home made and zesty. Plus you can make substitutions to the ingredient list to suit whatever mood you are in. Don't like goat cheese? They'll suggest a similarly creamy blue for you. Don't like feta? They'll give you a nice salty crumbly cheese that still makes the salad work. The staff members will recommend appropriate wine or beer to complement your menu selection, and the prices are more than reasonable - especially for Boca! On Thursdays - they have $5 glasses of wine and $9 bottles. What a lovely way to spend happy hour with a few friends. A platter of interesting , unusual cheeses paired with the perfect beverage. Feeling uneducated? Not to worry...not only will they help you pick out what you might like based on your preferences, they have samples out for you to try and they offer tastings and classes to educate your palate. Or - if you're like me - to just try some cheeses you might otherwise never have experienced. Seatings is available both inside and out. On a nice evening, it's nice to sit at the large communal picnic table and strike up a conversation with some other folks that have discovered the joy of this little shop.

We stop here to pick up hard to find California cheese. You have to try Mt. Tam triple cream, Midnight Moon, and Carmody with a white wine. They will cut you a wedge of your choice so you can buy a small amount to take home and try. They have nice outdoor seating and wine by the bottle or glass. Also, the have cheese plates, sandwiches and salads.

This is an excellent sandwich place if you love cheeses from all over the world on white or whole wheat baguettes. The combination are mouth watering...my particular favorites being the roast turkey, smoked cheddar and fruit chutney Or Serrano ham, Manchego with black olive tapenade. You can enjoy a great sandwich, or salad or soup with a nice glass of wine either indoors (they keep it very cool,) or outdoors under a canopy. Love this place for casual dining

I get a text from my brother in law around noon to meet him, and my sister, at the Cheese Course, for lunch. I'm excited!!! We've been talking about doing this for months and, waiting for this moment, I had refrained from coming here... I wanted my first time to be with them, cheese lovers like me. The day could not have been more beautiful! Perfect blue sky, beautiful puffy white clouds, so we decided to sit outside. They ordered some sandwiches, and a One Cheese Course each. I opted for the Three Cheese Course and Two Accompaniment. I selected the following: 1. Fromager D'Affinois (Bloomy Rind Cheese) from France. This was the mildest cheese of the three I selected. Similar to a Brie, it's creamy, and good by itself. I would not recommend adding any of the accompaniments to it, since the flavor of the cheese would probably get lost. My sister loved this one... 2. Roquefort (Blue Cheese) from France. Very strong, creamy, and a bit spicy. My brother in law was very happy with this selection, and I was too. By itself was great but, when I added the fig jam to it, WOW!!! That combination was outstanding, I could not stop eating it. 3. Truffle Tremor (Bloomy Rind Cheese) from USA. This is another strong, earthy cheese. It's truffle with velvety goat cheese. I really liked the texture of this one, and the flavor. This one too paired very well with the fig jam. As you can see I selected the fig jam as one of the accompaniments to my course, and the second one was fresh cut green apples. The course also comes with cold grapes, which were so juicy and fresh that was a great palette cleanse between cheeses. To complete our already perfect meal, we shared a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc wine, Guenoc. The staff was very helpful, and very friendly. They made recommendations, allowed us to try different cheeses before making our final selections, and even gave us extra bread for all the cheeses we had on the table. I absolutely loved The Cheese Course. It's a casual and very welcoming place. Great for sharing, conversing, and I can't wait to go back to try more.

I give The Cheese Course a 4.5 rating - because it is great for what it is: a unique, endearing, and totally cool informal place. This is no sit down at a table with fancy waiters place. You have to be in the mood for a more European experience in order to really appreciate it. You order from a very extensive sub and salad menu on the wall (each item pairs the ingredients to highlight the appropriate cheese). Then you order a wine that fits the meal perfectly. Example: Albacore White Tuna Melt with Gruyere; or, Grilled Chicken Breast with Fontina. You also can order great soups and quiches. Once you order your food and wine, you can go outside under nice tents and sit at the communal wood table or claim a private steel table for your party. This place is great for what it is. And I like what it is! (Note: I do not give 5 star ratings - 4.5 is the best I give. Hoping one day I find a place that gives me a transcendent experience of nirvana).

Everything I had was delicious but it was a little overwhelming trying to decide which 3 cheeses I wanted. The girl at the counter was very patient and super nice to deal with all the questions I had. I ended up with a mild blue cheese, stronger Bree, and manchego cheese. My favorite was the stronger tasting Bree. I picked fig jelly, and pesto but it also came with grapes and bread. It was more than enough for 2 people. We also order sandwiches on top of that. I had the applewood bacon sandwich with goat Gouda, tomatoes, avocado, spring greens, and aioli. Delish! Can't wait to go back and try their other cheeses.

First visit so need to return now that I know the ropes. Found out afterwards that they offer cheese samples which I didn't notice. Went for lunch so did not explore the wine options. Went with a simple chicken salad over lettuce which was good but soon realized I missed out by not trying one of their sandwiches. Next time

I went there for the first time today. I really enjoyed it! I was impressed! I wanted the grilled chicken breast sandwich I saw on the menu...but I was not familiar with the cheese that usually comes with it. They let me sample the cheese (which was GOOD), however I chose to substitute it for mozzarella cheese because that is one of my favorites! The sandwich was GREAT and very flavorful. I also enjoyed their loaded baked potato soup! Great place with great variety. I will definitely be going back soon!

The customer service was horrible and they got are order wrong. My friend order the grilled cheese and cheddar and broccoli soup which was nothing to rave about. We both agree that panera bread had the better broccoli and cheddar soup. Even though the sandwich and soup were not the best the cheese I ordered made up for it. It was delicious. I wish we just ordered just a platter of cheese. I got the cowgirl creamery- red hawk and st tams rind washed cheese and the Gorgonzola dolce cheese with the fig spread. It was amazing, I just wish the customer service and the soup lived lived up to the cheese. I gave them 3 stars instead of 1 just for the cheese. Needless to say I will never return i'll just buy that cheese somewhere else and eat it at home.

If there is a Yuppie heaven, Cheese Course is it. Though I knew was only at one of the local Rat Mouth establishments....I have been politely advised that Boca da Ratones refers not to a rat's mouth but was, in early Spanish navigational jargon, a reference to a jagged inlet......I could swear that I was seated at a European Bistro; except for the service which tends to be rather typical American ill trained goofy. Anyway, for cheese it's difficult to beat Cheese Course with its basic selections not only by country and region (American, Spanish, Italian, French, British Isles, Netherlands & etc.) but also by flavor, from mild to bold along with a most complete artisan (fresh, bloomy, washed, hard, soft, blue & etc.) pairing selection. Going inside it took me well over an hour to examine and go over the listings of all the various cheeses available, some of which are classical standards, others unique and a few exotics if not oddly enough erotic such as those named after and formed into the likeness of a women's breasts (see picture). Overall a great place to sit, relax, have a sandwich, some really good wine and sort of "cheese out" for the day.

I'm not usually one to complain because I was a server for many, many years. That being said I have NEVER closed early or made the services of a business that I was working at unavailable before we were scheduled to close. We stopped in tonight to grab a cheese plate and a bottle of wine before our movie at 730. Service was confused and slow and they were out of all of their house red wines except merlot. I wouldn't have bothered writing a review for that though because it wasn't that big of a deal. The issue came when our movie was over. We planned to go back and buy a $23 hunk of cheese (overpriced but more convenient than getting it elsewhere) and 15 minutes before they were set to close i.e. 9:45 on a Saturday night the doors were locked and the cash register "closed out" for the night. That just seems like bad business to me and completely turned me off.

It reminds me of Le Pain Quotidien. We ate brunch here and had a little bit of everything. Well priced and much more pleasant than the pseudo-trendy crap you usually find in Boca. The brie here is fantastic, and sandwiches are all great. It's a small, quaint and friendly place you wouldn't expect to see in Mizner Park.

These sandwiches are high quality and very fresh. You leave satisfied but not super stuff. The reason why I give it four stars is because the sandwiches are pretty expensive and I think should at least come with a side salad. My girlfriend always orders the southwest chicken breast. She always wants to try something new but can't put it down! I order the spanish serrano ham but replace the ham with prosciutto. I took my friend her the other day and she loved the roasted red pepper (all veggie) sandwich she ordered. The brownies are also well done!!

Love love love this place! I'm a big fan of european food and feel right at home here, the wooden tables and selection of wines, spices, and cheeses make you feel like your in a little sandwich shop in Italy! I always order the black forest ham sandwich that comes on a baguette, with their amazing cranberry relish and phenomenal brie cheese! there no other sandwich that hits the spot! And its so fresh too! As if every ingredient was just picked fresh! The reason why I give four starts is because sometimes the staff isn't all that great. In the evening they seem more upbeat during wine tasting but in the afternoon they all seem kind of dead and expressionless, and service matters too! When I asked what they recommend they seemed to not care at all or know what was best on their own menu. So I've stuck to getting take out. But the food is definitely great! The daily quiches are also delicious to go with a half a sandwich!

I have to say, today I was pleasantly surprised and actually impressed with my experience at The Cheese Course. I was unaware of this being a chain and usually I am leery of them, but I'm glad I finally decided to give this a try. My only gripe is that I had my mind set on ordering their peppered roast beef to only find out at the register they ran out of roast beef. This was 12:30 mid day mind you. I don't get how you run out of meat so early, but I had to call an audible. After a few minutes I decided to keep it simple with my first at bat. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with fontina, basil pesto, roasted red onions, some rosemary aioli and mixed greens. I added a caprese salad for just $5 more and it was definitely worth it. The French baguette bread here is awesome. Obviously, they have a plethora of cheese here. They're really cool about sampling too because you never want to get stuck paying $26 for a lb of Chimay cheese if you're not a fan. The Cahil Porter, which is Irish cheese dipped in Guinness is pretty outstanding, Next time I plan on doing a cheese course and cracking open a bottle of La Creme to class it up with the Mrs. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for lunch. Be careful though because the bill can quickly add up, but you have to treat yourself once in awhile and what better way to do that than with a glass of red, a French baguette and an assortment of cheeses. My next trip will confirm whether or not this stays at a 4 or gets dropped to a 3.5. But right now their debut was Cam Newton impressive.

On my favorites list. What a great place... No frills, great quality food. The "country french style" of the place gives it a low key, yet high end, feel. I've tried the sandwiches, quiches, cheese platters and it's impossible to pick a favorite... they're all good. Wine is sold by the glass or bottle, and the bottles are sold at retail price (not like the store price x 3 you usually see at restaurants). Parking at Mizner Park is a pain... but only because it ain't free :) So if you're headed to this place, might as well stay and eat in (as opposed to doing takeout) since you're paying for parking anyway. If you're looking for a nice pre-movie dinner or snack, I highly recommend stopping at the Cheese Course. Last time I did this with my husband, we had a 6-cheese sampler and a nice bottle of wine, for about $35 total. Fancy date plan, without the "fancy" price tag.

Even better than the location in Weston! The biggest reason for that is because the staff is so much more friendly! Seriously, people need to learn that staff is the biggest determining factor of a diner's experience. The waitress at the cash register let us sample each of the wines available in order for us to choose our favorite bottle. Afterwards she helped in our decision of our large cheese platter! So once we ordered, we went around the back of the register and sampled some yummy freebies and then sat in the nice outdoor patio. My one request: more comfortable chairs! But soon our wine came out, our platter of three cheeses, grapes, baguettes, and fig spread arrived along with our side of prosciutto! Everything was divine! Everything was fresh & perfectly presented. We wined and dined and soon ordered their chicken pesto sandwich. Although we did request no mayonnaise and they still put it on there. I just asked for another fresh piece of bread to satisfy my taste buds. So overall, there was one mistake but they were glad to offer us extra bread for our cheese and for our sandwich! So if you ever want a relaxing evening at a nice outdoor location. This is the place to go. The restaurant is also bigger than the one located in Weston, so that was a plus as well.

The Cheese Course has (obviously) amazing cheeses with a wide range to choose from, truffle cheese being my personal favorite. I absolutely love their cheese platters, sandwiches, and salads; I normally order the salad with walnuts and I choose truffle cheese to go with it (delish)! They also have a really cute sitting area outside!

Yum!

Wish there was a place like this where I live!

i love the stuff that they have at this place. it reminds of the little wine & cheese shops that you find in napa valley. the bread is very nice, and they have a large selection of sandwiches and salads to choose from. they serve different selections of cheese on wood cutting boards too, which pair great with a bottle of wine. i do wish they offered soup though. i enjoy the prosciutto di parma sandwich the best. it has fresh mozzarella, tomato, balsamic vinegar, and pesto on it. amazing.

Perfect!

What a fabulous place for lunch! There are an overwhelming number of cheeses to choose from. I stuck with the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich which was awesome.

Located right next to ipic this is a good spot to go to for a quick bite to eat. Has good wine, cheese, and very good caprese sandwich. Friendly staff.

Done.

  • Beatriz M.

Yum!

Perfect!
